"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding." Proverbs 3:5

I really encourage anyone to watch some of those or read them. I love reading or hearing about the testimonies of others concerning Christ. Mainly 'cause... well, when I hear them it reminds me of the first encounter I had with God when He came in my heart. So when I hear the stories of others, they're very similar when it comes to the work of the Spirit. That's why I love 'em <3 Plus, it's uplifting and encouraging, because we know that God will work in the lives of those who seek Him.

I wish I was disciplined enough to write down all the marvelous things God's doing in my life. I LOVE it. I wanna write them down because, they're entirely opposite to my old writings (in the past) Totally contrary to the negativity, depression, and sort of anguish I once had. But my Lord took them all away.

At school in the hallways, I always see people (boyfriend+girlfriend) together. The Devil put this thought in my mind towards them, "It must be so great to have someone to be there for you." But I made a response to that thinking and said, "I do have a 'boyfriend'... His name is the LORD. And He's better than anyone" LOL but it's true, right? God is faithful, loyal, kind, trustworthy, loving, and more-- He's forgiving, He's merciful, slow to anger and quick to compassion-- He's the One for all of us who believe and obey His commands.

"Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God." // 1 John 5:1-5

His command is this: To know Him, (a relationship) with the Son. Jesus said "He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives the one who sent me." (Matthew 10:40) and, "No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also." (1 John 2:23)

Concerning judgment day, "Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'" (Matthew 7:22-23) There are many so called Christians(or believers) in the world who think that by righteousness or being "religious" paves the way for salvation. Clearly it does not, for if salvation could be gained through works, then Christ died for nothing! (Gal. 2:21)

So then, many will be at the door step and say to God, "We did this and that and blahblahblah all for You, all in Your Name, let us come in!" But Christ will reply, "I don't know you and you don't know me, away from me!" We don't let random strangers in our homes, we have no idea who they are or where they come from, or what they're intentions are-- likewise, because people refuse to come to know the Lord He wont allow them inheritance for the kingdom and receive salvation. Who rewards a criminal? Do judges let law breakers go free without justice? We broke God's Law (what we call 'sin', transgression of the Law) and deserve punishment. But Jesus came and bore our sins on the cross so that "whosoever believes in Him will be saved." (John 3:16) Whoever puts their trust and hope in God through Jesus Christ, refusing to deliberately sin (repenting) of their sin(wrongdoing), will be saved. Jesus paid the fine we could not pay, and filled the gap that separated man from God because of sin.

So then, this sums it up: Come to know God through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Peace be with you'all :3

peace be with you too haru :D you really made me smile when you was saying about the girlfriend+boyfriend thing ^_________^ and its true, God is loyal and trustworthy and kind, and everything else good and true in the world ^^
when i first read 1 John 5:1-5, i didnt quite understand all of it... but then i went back, and tried to listen with my heart, and recieve what it was saying... "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding." Proverbs 3:5 and i think i did... i just sometimes wish, that those with hard hearts did too...

and then when you were saying about the "so called Christians (believers)" it made me think of what i've told you before... when i had a dream i met you, and i told you i was christian, but then you said that i was a fake christian, because of something or other i was doing... and since then i've always tried to be a "proper christian" :D

and when like people ask "if there is God, and he loves us so much, then why is there so much suffering in the world?" and i just think, any suffering, or pain, is turned around by the Lord, and made good, and so we learn things out of it... he would never put us in harm for the sake of it...

the other day i was listening to this song by Leona Lewis, Bleeding Love (have you heard it?) and i was trying to think what it was reminding me of... the bit when she sings:
"i dont care what they say, i'm in love with you..." and i just realised a minute ago, it was reminding me of, when i was saying i'd stick by you, and believe YOU, not what everyone else was saying... and once again, it just made me feel so happy, and tingly inside :D *is about to watch the testomies and stories you link'd* cant wait to see them ^^ i'd better go now :P need to check if i haves any homework to doooos.... you know, i always love reading your journals :D and well... your kinda like an older sister to me ^_____________^ <3
PEACE OUT!

awwz <33

like William Gurnall said, “God's wounds cure, sin's kisses kill”. (btw i have no idea who William Gurnall is LOL)
but yeah, with the "trouble" and "suffering," God's wounds(like trials, or testing) cure (make us stronger and wiser)... but the kisses of sin (pleasure of sin) kills (results in death) x3
I've said it before... i shall say it again: I'm thankful for suffering, because without it, I would have never met the God who loves so abundantly and became my closest friend. <3 There's nothing in the world, or anywhere, that I'd trade Him for.

hey hey.. the only definition for a "proper Christian" is a Christian who repents (turns away) from their sin (wrong doing) and believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, in other words having a relationship in Him. But that only concerns salvation, in the Bible it says that "there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:1) So long as you love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength (according to your ability given) you'd be a "real Christian." False Christians... are 'Christians' who don't really love Jesus, you can tell by their actions and words (aka "fruit") that they don't belong to God. I'm no better than you are...we both have salvation so long as we believe and trust in Him. :3 After that comes rewards that do come from works, and the New Testament talks about that.

Good works (what we should always do) are things like helping others, giving, striving to become mature in Christ and loving one another, doing good to even enemies, giving the Gospel to others (ministering; we all can minister. it's not just a church job, it's something God has called every Christian to do when they're ready for it or able), just doing... a bundle of good things for anyone. God will reward those who do these things, and believe me, I have no idea what those rewards are but if they're from God... I don't want to lose mine! know what i mean? but yeah, I hope i'm not getting you all confused or something, just remember that being a goodie-two-shoes has nothing to do with salvation. Entering Heaven only comes by believing and repenting in Christ Jesus (loving and having a relationship with Him) x3

"In my anguish I cried to the LORD, and he answered by setting me free." Psalm 118:5
:iconroxy-hamyham:
nah, you're not confusing me ^^ so, "giving the Gospel to others" is that like, talking about God and preaching? coz if so, i've done that before, to one of my friends, and they'e like Christian now :D

you've really helped me understand all this now ^^ *repents*
"would have never met the God who loves so abundantly and became my closest friend. <3 There's nothing in the world, or anywhere, that I'd trade Him for." ^_______^ its just so special knowing that i have that special bond with Him, and like, when you feel really alone, you know, that Hes there looking after you, and you can turn to Him for guidence... and its like, only when you've experienced this, you'd know what we're on about... i have a friend at school, and she, and her friend, are athiests... and her friend sometimes kinda "blasphemys" God/Jesus... and i just think, you dont know what your missing, and pray that one day, they recieve God...

can i ask you a question...? if you had a non-religous friend, would you think it was right for their RE teacher, to kind of pick on them for not being christian? coz my friend had to do hoemwork about religion, so she said she did, all the usual ones, and put on satanism... and after that, the teacher kept saying stuff like "...but SOME people are satanists..." and if the school you go to isnt a religous school, are they aloud to make you pray? coz my friend said, her teacher kept telling her to put her hands together like everyone else, and pray... and even though i'm Christian, you shouldnt be forced into a religion should you? some people may think i'm mad, and should want everyone to be christian like me, but everyones meant to recieve God in their own time: "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."
Jeremiah 29:13.... i'm just going on what my friend said, i'm not in her class (year below me) but it just didnt feel right...

anyways... see you soon... well, not SEE you, speak to you soon ^^
-huggies back-... (oh no! not diapers again!!!) XDD lolz... x3

You need to learn that, and learn how to do it real good. (but if you ever do plan to do it, make sure you've got it down right and that you've learned what to say in certain situations... but keep in mind, whenever you do witness... rely on God's power, on His Spirit, because it's the Holy Spirit who convicts and changes the hearts of people, not us....

Remember what Apostle Paul said in 1Corin.2: 1-5 ...."When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, /but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power/, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power."

God's made you so sweet! ;-; /eats u (shot) Even when enemies, or people we don't know, say bad things to us or bad things about God, Jesus told us to forgive our enemies and do good to them (if the opportunity comes) even if it hurts. He also told us to pray for them, and I can see you got that down. :] Keep praying that one day, though you may not see them again, that God will open their hearts and come in. ^^

o_o Yeah, whatever your teacher is doing, it's not good. She might have good intentions, but doing them in a forceful manner will not make someone come to Christ. That's the way Islam is commanded (in the Quran) to spread their religion. Many religions, not just Islam, will try to actually force people into doing what they believe. Which isn't right. If I were in your position over there, it wouldn't feel right at all for me either. Plus, you can't force God to come change somebody. Just like you said, "everyones meant to receive God in their own time." Stick to that, because that is a Biblical statement. (meaning it can be proved with Scripture.)

Ecclesiastes 3:1 "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven." And, "'I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.' It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy." (Romans 9:15-16)

Is that non-religious friend of yours Satanic or something? It could be 'cause your teacher was worried over them. If your friend has her mind on evil things... @_x That's no good for anybody. XD; If you don't mind talking to your teacher, try letting her know that it isn't good to force beliefs in that sort of way on people. If she argues with you, remember that God is love. And love isn't forceful, it's because of His love that He gave us free will, a choice. Ask her if she thinks through the Eyes of God if it's right to enforce Christianity in that way on people. It's not, if anything, it brings down the name of Christianity and Christ on the level of Islam and beheading people for the sake of their god Allah. All because people wouldn't "submit" to their religion. (When you grow and learn more, teach and correct them -other Christians and non-Christian- and pray that God keeps you always (and He does!) and that He guides you into His will and plan for you. ^^)

I detest religion. If anything, religion is what is man-made and man-regulated. (teachings only by mere men) Christianity... Christianity isn't like all the other religions. No, Christianity is a relationship. Christianity is a relationship with Christ Jesus, with God. God doesn't want sacrifice or fancy rules or traditions that have an appearance of wisdom, He doesn't want just faith alone, faith is a byproduct of LOVE. Ultimately, we're to love God. We talk/pray to Him, I mean, He's our friend. But He's also our God and our King, so we listen to Him. That's how Christianity differs from all the rest.

2 Peter 1:21 "For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit."
2Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness"

We got the written Word of God. <3 This is how we differ. :]

anyway, i'm so exciting for you roxy.....<3 i know the Lord is working in your life. i love u so much <3 believe me, it's such a tremendous blessing for you at a young age to come to know Jesus and grow in wisdom. You're given years of a head start! XD' (I only got to start when i was 17, but I guess I got my whole life ahead of me to grow in grace and truth. :3 Just never let go of what God's given you, always stick to the Bible, and don't let others lead you astray. and again, if you ever come to anything in the Bible or in life that bothers you, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and don't lean into your own understand -prov 3:5-" ^^ (write it on paper and hang it on the wall! remember, the Word of God is living and active...it's sharper than any double-edged sword! -Hebrews 4:12- )
